Today, HubSpot announced that they are introducing a new Starter tier for the CMS Hub. This brings the power of HubSpot to smaller teams and organizations that have lightweight websites (under 15 pages) and expands the opportunity for small businesses to enhance their online presence.

Starting at just $25/mo., teams can create a complete and engaging website using an intuitive drag-and-drop editor on a variety of themes developed by HubSpot and HubSpot Solutions Partners. HubSpot even includes live chat and email support for its CMS Hub Starter customers.

The HubSpot CMS Starter plan includes:

  • Mobile optimization
  • Secure SSL
  • Custom domain names
  • 1 blog
  • Up to 15 website pages
  • 10 dashboards with up to 10 reports per dashboard
  • Live chat with the Conversations inbox
  • Up to 2,000 email sends per month
  • Forms and landing pages
  • List segmentation with up to 5 active lists and 1,000 static lists

While CMS Starter is the entry point, HubSpot also has Professional and Enterprise tiers for CMS Hub.

Should we make the switch?

We get asked a lot whether or not we'd recommend HubSpot CMS Hub as the platform for teams to build their website—and the answer is (we can't stress this enough): yes.

While HubSpot CMS Hub is relatively new to the market compared with other CMS tools like WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal, HubSpot has invested a ton of resources and development into making the best possible end-user experience for its CMS Hub customers. The usability of HubSpot is really unmatched—and if your team is already using HubSpot elsewhere, the learning curve for picking up HubSpot CMS will be that much smaller.

By working with clients to switch from WordPress to HubSpot, we've seen how marketing teams are able to move faster and more autonomously and require less development support to create new pages or launch new marketing campaigns.

If you're looking at building out your first website, starting a blog, or even making a switch to something easier for you and your team to use, get in touch with us and we'd gladly work with you to see if HubSpot CMS would be a good fit.
